- 6 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 3 lbs Yellow or Mixed Onions (Red, Yellow, Shallot)
- Salt, Pepper, Spices
- In a large stainless steel saucepan, melt
butterover medium-high heat until foaming.
- Add onions and cook for about 8min or until soft, stirring occasionally.
- Lower heat to medium-low and cook 1-2 hours, stirring frequently until
onionsare sweet and golden brown. If onion starts to burn, add 1tbsp of
waterand continue stirring.
- Season with salt and pepper.
